Electric scooters steer using handlebars and are best suited for outdoor use. They easily roll over a number of surfaces and are usually comfortably stored in the trunk of your car.

Manual wheelchairs are self-propelled or pushed by a companion. They are extremely lightweight and most will fold into small spaces.
